boobs *ugh!*...I have just been thinking how lucky I have been not to get too many so far, and today I noticed some huge horrible thick purple lines coming up in my boobs. I have increased in bust size quite a lot (I am pretty much dolly parton now) but I have never had them there before and I am a bit sad about it now, my boobs were pretty much the only part of my bady I actually liked! *humph*!
Anyway do you think it is because my bra's are not supportive enough, or is it just going to carry on happening regardless?
I am really sad about this... |

Can't be helped, sorry!  Stretch marks can appear anywhere where you expand in a hurry - boobs definantly fall into that category!  You've been a real trooper if you find them behind your knees and on your upper arms (the stretch marks... not your boobs!!!).  They'll fade.  In saying that, I'm still using Palmers Cocoa Butter lotion daily from collarbone to thighs... just in case it helps!!  My husband thinks I'm crazy.

Oh my love...wait until after the little one appears and breasfeeding finishes!!!
They fade eventually and honestly apart from those silly stick figures on tv and in magazines I think most people have some stretch marks in one place or another!!!

I had no idea I had stretchmarks on my boobies until they deflated. Now I'm so put out by being an A cup that I don't give a flying crap that I have stretch marks there.
 hehehe
So I guess what I am saying is that stretch marks are only the beginning sweetie!! I have just thought of a positive of having saggy deflated boobs though, they hang so low that you can't see the stretch marks underneath! Brilliant!!

I was discussing with a friend just today about how I never appreciated my boobs back when they were high and un-marred! Now the sag around my waist and have stretchmarks like you would not believe.
Just last night Andy and I were discussing a boob job (I am sure he thinks I will get massive ones, hence whyhe is so supportive!)

Another positive look on things Frantic... you've got yourself a hubby! I've somehow gotta bag a father for my child with lovely stretch marks and saggy boobs. Take comfort that your man had something to do with the pregnancy so you can blame him. (and not have to flaunt yourself to find another guy )

The advantage to stretch marks on our boobs? No one else (other than our partner and maybe some medical-type people) will see them! It is the one place we get them that is usually covered up, no matter what we are wearing!
At least, that's what I keep telling myself... Sorry, Mrs Frantic, stretch marks anywhere on the body seem to have be caused by a lack of elasticity in the lower layers of skin. Different moisterisors or similar products try to help reduce the appearance... I'm not sure about them myself. But yours were definitely not caused by a non-supportive bra.

I'm not even pregnant and I have tons of stretch marks. Can't imagine what I'll be like when I do get pregnant. My hips are covered in stretch marks (luckily they are white though) and I have so many that when I go swimming I always wear boardies. So at least you can hide them on boobs

LMAO Nikki - I'm sure Zeke loves you saggy stripy boobs and all... I have stretchmarks everywhere, can't blame pregnancy as I had them before (my boobs just appeared overnight and so they've always had stretchmarks). Although must say that having Maya made them worse, and there seem to be new ones sprouting up now too...

My theory is that atleast it can't much worse!
hrmmmm.. that sounds depressing... maybe I rephrase it...
If I can still fit into size 8 jeans after having a baby (so they might be quite a large size 8, but we'll ignore that) then atleast if he gets me preggo he knows that I'll come out looking relatively similar to the way I started |

Size eight? Really? I can barely even glance in the direction of a size eight pair of pants without popping the buttons off...
I remember finding my first stretch marks. Was strutting happily in front of the mirror 'cause I didn't have any and Andy (sweetheart that he is) told me that I had heaps under my belly, it was just that I couldn't see them. Bugger.

Haha I had no one to tell me about the ones under my belly and didn't notice them until my belly had gone back to normal... then I looked for more and found tiny little silver ones all over my hips (OK, only a couple of pairs of my pants are size 8, veeeery stretchy fabric )
