I see a lot of people using Momentz photography in Auckland. I understand that Sarah offers a fantastic deal - around $150 for 50 photos.

Pity she is in Aucks!!

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced photographers in Wellington that give you a bunch of digital prints like Momentz does?

Many of the ones I have seen have insane sitting fees and then even worse fees for prints.

David St George is a close friend of mine and a wonderful photographer (sorta photojournalistic/candid style rather than posed formal portraits).

He doesn't have a studio at the moment but can come to you and offers a similar deal to Sarah's.

Cheeky Chops have no sitting fee and can come to you.

Her prices for prints are very good and she takes some brilliant shots.

I saw Cheeky Chops advertised at Ashlee's daycare recently so looked at their website. I like her style of just photographing the kids in their natural play.

We live down the road from Lifeworks Studio - they take some fantastic pics! The couple that own it are SO lovely, really down to earth and approachable. I have no idea what their price ranges are though.

I dont think his offer is anywhere near Sarah's offer as Sarah's was $150 for 50 prints but as far as I can see on his site it is $10 for a 6x4 ( so for 50 would be $500) and the price goes up. I know this is for actually prints but I cant see anything for photo CDs

Those are just for the single prints for people wanting one-offs from his blog site... as you can tell he's still developing the commercial website!

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll look at all the options.

Sarah tells me she will travel, so perhaps myself and some other mums can pitch in for her costs. Her deals seems very good and she takes great photos.

Not looking for a while though... but will have to start working on DH!
