OOohhhhh! Do you want a scrummy dessert!
Pre-heat the oven to 250degrees.
Whizz 6 egg whites into a stiff mixture, honestly I use 'turning the bowl upside down over my head' as the test.
Stir in a couple of dessert spoons of sugar.
Defrost frozen berries and place in an oven dish, put icecream on top of this. and then the egg mixture on top.
Put in the oven until the top is golden brown*.
delish!!
I'm not sure what the allergies are in your house though I made this for dinners when I was dairy free and used soy icecream.
It guaranteed silence and licked clean bowls after.
Right I'm off to get my stash of chocolate
I think the original recipe uses sponge as a base but I find without it is filling enough
*This takes about 5 - 7 minutes and the icecream is still frozen/cold when it comes out. The good / bad thing about it is it all has to be finished
