    Posted: 15 October 2008 at 8:01pm

Ella has nearly grown out of her gogo bag and I thinking that I am going to have to buy her a new sleeping bag shortly. I am also starting to train her to sleep underneath a duvet, so I don't want to have to sleep a lot of money on a new sleeping bag so can't really justify buying a toddler sized gogo bag.

Can anyone recommend a good cotton, summer weight, toddler sized sleeping bag that isn't too expensive?

TIA

The Sleep Store ones and the Baby City ones are the same brand, the gremlins have them in summer weight sz 18-36 months and they still fit them fine.

is that the living textiles one? Had a look at them in babycity, but was a bit worried about the zip being in the middle of the bag, as Ella is a tummy sleeper and thought it might be a bit uncomfortable.

maybe I shoud just get the grobag...at least I can use it when we have another child! I don't know.....

for those that have the grobag do you use in the 1.0 or 0.5 tog for summer?

Bugger, babystuff had summer grobags for 45% off (so about $40) but just checked the website and the special is no longer on.

I bought 1.0 for summer.

Hi
when my boy grew out of his sleepng bag i moved him into a Pepi Snugglesuit. It is brilliant and has been especially good because he can walk around in it and doesnt get so frustrated as he used to in his sleeping bag when he started to move around. It has a really cool foId over foot and is pure merino so not as hot and sweaty as the cheaper polyester polar fleece ones. It has been especially good since moving him into a bed as he kicks off his blankets. He has hasnt woken up cold at night at all - it has been great for is night time routines - I just put it over his PJs after his bath and he looks so cute cruising round in it. I bought it online at www.pepisnugglesuit.co.nz. Check it out.

Cute! But OMG the price!

My Ella is a tummy sleeper too, her sleep suits zip down the front and it hasn't seemed to affect her at all. No marks or anything.

I know but it has been worth its weight in Gold! I guess its because it is made in New Zealand and is made from a special Merino Fleece - I think Ice Breaker use the same fabric for their jackets. It is well made and has been hard wearing I will use it when my next baby grows out of his sleeping bag too. Baby factory also stock a cheaper version but it is not Merino
Good luck

re: the tummy sleeping: Hannah's a tummy sleeper and her Grobag has the zip up the front, doesn't seem to bother her as the zip-pull thingamewhatsit is at the bottom of the sack when it's done up. (IYKWIM).
(And I have a 1.0tog)
