Ok, now we all know that I'm not the happiest at the moment, but I just have to have a little b***h. I have been watching tv, and reading a few mags, and I'm so sick of seeing all these celebraties who have just had babies, and are tiny!!! I really don't understand how they do it. They don't look like they put on any weight at all while they are pregnant (I put on 20kgs!!), and then they have big photo shoots in mags a week or 2 after baby is born and they look gorgeous. Where are their jelly bellys and big dark rings under their eyes from lack of sleep?? It's really not good for all us 'normal mums' is it. And then, when finally someone puts on weight while they are preggy (thanks Britney) the media slams her for it. Im so sick of it!!

And don't even get me started on the names they give their babies!!

You have to wonder about some of those pictures you see in magazines - I think a lot of the time they are airbrushed and wear loads of makeup to cover the dark circles under their eyes.

They have personal trainers, personal chefs etc thru out their pregnancy and after. They have nannies that look after bub while you have long sleep...and that is how they look so good...and yes their pics are airbrushed!

If I had that much money then I would look good too.....LOL

oh oh and I am proud of my Mummy body. It shows that I am a mum!!!

I have read that there is such a thing called a baby package where they go in and have baby via c-section and also get lipo, tummy tuck etc etc Its pretty sad indeed!!!

Most of them have the time to work that flab off - they get a personal trainer+ leave their babies with the nanny and do whatever the hell they want! Not saying they all do it but a huge percentage do!

I would take bets on the fact that NONE of them get up during the night for feeding (although angelinamanstealer had on a bf bra in her pics?)and none of them have to cook dinners lunches etc, or even do washing.

yup I know a guy who is a surgeon in America and he said that most stars or even ladies with money book in for their lipo before the baby is born - that way as soon as it comes they can be slotted in and have all the baby fat sucked out of them) - it is apparently quite common practice although it is a very painful way to spend your first few weeks with baby after it arrives - personally i couldnt imagine anything worse than going through the pain of childbirth and being that paranoid about how your body looks that you put yourself through additional pain of lipo...but each to his own I guess...?

I read the editors blurb in the latest Cosmo (Mandy Moore cover) and I was really impressed with what she had to say on the whole skinny star thing and Nicole Richie in particular. It was a really good piece of writing I thought. The star mums thing is sooooo annoying. I was really pi$$ed off when I read in a mag and they were dissing Gwyneth Paltrow for putting on 20 kgs in her latest pregnancy!! Man - being pregnant is hard enough without people doing silly things like that!!
