For those of you who exclusively breastfed for the first 4-6 months, when did your period return?

Mine came back exactly one month after I stopped feeding. He was still feeding once during the night when I weaned.

About 6 weeks after I had fully weaned my first off the breast. (breastfed for 6 months). With the second two - again was 6 weeks but had to give up breastfeeding at 8 weeks old.

I got mine about 10 weeks after he was born - a bit unfair seeing as I'm still bfeeding him now.

I got a period almost exactly 28 days after Jackson was born. 14 days later I had thick discharge, the likes I haven't seen since I was ovulating before pregnancy.
My MW says I may not get another one for several months, or I may now get them every month.

SUCKS! I was so looking forward to some more time off.

I got mine back when Michaela was 7mo.  At that stage she was being fed by breast/bottle/solids and we'd been mixed feeding her for about 7 weeks (before then she was exclusively breastfed).

15 weeks - right when DD started regularly sleeping through the night. I've read that can be one of the factors in AF returning i.e. when you stop breastfeeding during the night.
