People say to have a look at what you've eaten that might have upset baby... Does anyone know how long after eating something it can affect them? Like, does eating cabbage give them wind an hour later, 6hrs later or the next day? Would make it easier to analyse my diet if I had a rough idea when to look for it...

The only thing I've noticed to affect Daniel is blue cheese. I tried to be good during pregnancy, but now that I am "allowed" it, it screws him up so I can't have it, and this is usually within about 3 hours. I think - it's been a while since I cut it out!

Chocolate does it for Joel within 3-4 hrs, but only if I have more than a little bit (which sometimes I want) and its mainly dark choc too which is my fav.

hehehe jess, it takes three hours for food to pass through your milk.

This is prob a bit ott but here is a list of things i know/have heard of that are bad for wind:

* i find fizzy drinks bad
* caffeine (so i'm told)
* Cabbage
* onion
* Brocolli
* Beans?
* Peas?
* Spicy food
* i heard the other day that too much dairy
* Apparently chocolate can make your milk go sour?
* i could almost swear with V that if i'd eaten (or once he was on Soldis) or he' deaten too much bread, that it hurt his tummy. we had allergy tests done but the general 12test came back neg.

Anyways, sorry if ott, but it's what i have found. hope it helps.
