Yay we have an inducement date! Thursday morning at 8am its all go. My midwife is going to do a sweep tomorrow, not sure why but they asked that she do one before thursday I guess incase that sets things of rather than being induced. In two weeks Addy has gone from being 7lb to 8.5lb so she is ready to come out they say. Im so excited I cant wait, but nervous to and now I have a thousand things I have to do before then. Plus Im worried about Kobe and how he will go and that I probably wont see him all day Thursday if it takes ages.

   Hey Robyn,
I hope that you can get some rest in before the big day - and best wishes for a safe and comfortable as possible delivery with a healthy wee cherub to cuddle at the end of it all. Prayers, good wishes and happy thoughts to you and your family,
 Maree

Good luck with it all. Any reason they are bringing you on early except for the size of baby? Unless I read your ticker wrong that is.

Thanks everyone. Fingers crossed will have some baby pics to share this weekend.
Anna baby size is a big thing but its more that her organs like liver etc also grow to big because of gestational diabetes which can of course cause probs later in life aswell. At the moment for example her abdominal circumfernce is totally off the chart, sitting at about 98% percentile and her liver isnt far behind. Plus she has grown 1.5bl in two weeks which is huge. Also if they let me go to term it will more than likely end in a c section because I had trouble pushing Kobe out and he was only 7lb 2oz and she is heading for 10 or 11lb. Add to that the diabetes is not responding great to insulin and we are running out of time. Im having huge highs and very low lows which are really horrible and hard to have dealing with a toddler aswell when I can hardly move until the levels come right. Oh and one of the biggest things for me although not so much for the hospital is an increased risk of stillbirth with GD. Wow that turned into a major ramble didnt it, sorry bout that

Diabetes can also cause complications post surgery for mums if a caesar is needed...harder to process anaesthesia and regulate insulin.
Big, brave, warm huggie thoughts to Robyn and family for Thursday.
(My number 1 was 7lbs2oz and number 2 shot up to 9lbs2oz...I'd love to tell you I didn't notice the difference, but I'd be lying)

Wow, best of luck for the induction on Thursday. She has certainly gotten bigger over that one week. She sounds like she is already to come out to meet her mummy and daddy.

Yah! Looking forward to seeing those pics Robyn! And I'm sure Kobe will be fine, anyway, bubbas are more resiliant than we think. And Taine has the bite marks to prove it!
