So Thomas has just started walking and I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction towards toddlers summer shoes that are still soft? He has been in bobux until now and I really like the whole soft shoe thing for toddlers. He has been given some havianas but they are pretty hard and not very flexible. So any advice would be great!

Thanks heaps in advance!

I swear by the bobux iwalks! They are priecy but by far lasted Isla the longest- she only had winter ones tho. They do have cool cummer leather sandles, but not is pink, thats why Isla doesnt have them! They have a cool navy pair and a red pair for boys.
She had Fisher price leather sandels last summer when she was just starting to walk. They were $20 from k-mart and lasted really well. They are soft with just a tread part in plastic on the bottom,..same as the iwalk juniors have.

SimoneF - we have Hoof baby shoes for our 18mth old.
Hoof baby shoes link

They are excellent shoes - funky, hard wearing and look comfortable to wear. They can be fairly pricey like bobux iwalks, but are definitely worth it, because they will last. It really is hard to find good quality, hard wearing, affordable shoes for toddlers out there! I think I've bought all my shoes from independent specialty babystores.

I have to 2nd the Hoof shoes. We have had the Iwalks as well, but when Sam grew out of them I just couldn't justify another $60. Hoof are very similar and I got a gorgeous pair for $30.

you can get bobux that are like sandals. I am tempted to try them as Tom walks really well in his bobux.  I bought some hoofs and it took about a month of walking for him to be able to walk in them due to the stiffer sole.  But now he is fine except they are now too small .  He seems to be more steady cos he can even walk in gumboots now.
