My "baby heater" has only just kicked in these past few days, mostly just before bedtime. Midwife says it's a hormone surge, Mum laughs and says now I know how she feels with her hot flushes
Personally, I think it's baby's way of making sure I've turned off my precious electric blanket so that we don't get zapped when my waters break lol

That's really funny Toni!! I must admit I sometimes forget to turn my blanket off at night but I seem to sleep better with it on.

Millie I was on the verge of tears at having to turn mine off (pre-heater days). I would wake up more often to pee if I was cold so I was relying on the heat to keep me asleep for as long as I could (then make a mad dash to the loo in the mornings lol)

Ha ha I have to say that I go to the toilet less at night time if I have my electric blanket on but when it is off I get cold and need to get up and go to the loo too and as you get bigger you just can't be bothered getting out of bed and hold on for as long as you can ha ha

tell me about it! Although bubs has other ideas-seems to think a full bladder is a trampolene and you try waddling to the bathroom at 39 weeks with a full bladder

Yes I could imagine that bubs would move a lot on your bladder - goodness so much to look forward to in the later stages of pregnancy

Nah - It's all good REALLY! I just try to remind myself that it's all for a good reason etc and will be forgotten when I get to hold my lil' kicker (and finally be able to give it a proper name! )
