I was just wondering, is it ok for a 6 month old to suck/chew on a ginger nut bikkie?
Caden had a try of mine and loved it....sorry if this is a dumb question.

The only other thing to consider is there's a lot of sugar in them but as long as he's not eating too many and you clean his gums (and any teeth) afterwards it should be ok.

If he likes banana, you could try the 'bananacle' - get some popsicle sticks cut the banana into 3 pieces and freeze them, my daughter LOVED them and they are great for teething.

But on the gingernut front - they should be fine, but maybe a treat item (as Jo said they do have a wee bit of sugar in them)

Sophie would ONLY eat ginernuts if she had her way - she loves them and buy they are messy! I was told by a friend that they are one of the 'best' bikkies interms of health - he had a stroke and had to watch what he ate, so he did some research and gingernuts came out on top .

Leah wouldn't eat rusks so she had gingernuts all the time. Didn't bother me........at least she was eating something!

Cool thanks for the replys. I might wait until he is 7 months and then offer him things like that as a treat.
The bananacle sounds like a coll idea though!
