we have been in total disagreement over the names we like and the ones we do agree on only seem to be half way to what we are looking for. so i thought for a bit of fun lets see if any one can come up with some fresh pretty girls names we would like something unique so any ideas would be great

Maybe give us an idea of the type of name you are after? Or examples of names you can't agree on or that are on your list.

I have to admit I am a pretty traditional girl when it comes to names but happy to put my thinking cap on!
Caroline, SAHM to 2 boys, S (4 years old) and J (2 years old)

Nora(h), Vera, Brenna(h), Aurelia, Coralie, Eloise, Tamsin, and I second Cadence

Sorry those aren't modern at all

Before meeting her people will probably assume she is a boy. But I like it, it's a beautiful strong name for a girl.

I really like Claudia and Greta, tho hubby wasn't too keen on them for our girl so we went with Madeleine.
I have the same problem with my name and people thinking I was a guy. Spelt Mieke but pronounced Meeka, you just get used to it

I like Dillon for a girl its a good girls name.

We're sussed for boys names, girls is proving challenging.
We've already used our favourite girls name for our first born.

Dylan was on our list for a girl too! Love it (love your spelling better, will add that to our list for number 3), i like boys names for girls so we also had Spencer, Mackenzie, Cameron and Elliot.
People often say to us 'but Quinns a boys name...' i think now most names can be unizex.
We have no problem picking girls names but if we ever have a boy we'll be in trouble.
Good luck finding something you both agree on

We've got Greta and Alyssa, and two of our daughters have "boys" names- Tait and Eliot. We've almost used Sheridan, Edison, Ivy, Dillon, Mackenzie, Madeline, Meredith, lots of others I can't think of right now! I like to use names that are uncommon but not "weird", so I look in uncommon places, eg in a scottish surnames book, a paint colour chart, plant lists, the "names popular 100years ago" on baby name websites. I hope that helps!
