We're talking about great ideas in this week's OHbaby! newsletter... the simple things that make a huge difference!
Like recently I have realised that my kids prefer to eat their peas frozen. So I'm not going to bother cooking them anymore. And if their meal is a still a bit hot, eating icy peas one by one keeps them focused while the rest of the food cools down. Has changed my life!! :)
What idea have you had recently (or seen somewhere else, no shame in being inspired by others!) that has made a difference to your world?

Frozen peas are a treat for when DD eats all of her dinner

Frozen cubes of fruit puree are great for cooling porridge fast for hungry children.

My girls both love frozen bananas on a stick, dipped in yoghurt and sprinkled with wheat germ. Very nice on sore gums.
We also make iceblocks with yoghurt, mashed banana and any diced fruit we happen to have. I give them an iceblock each when I'm trying to cook dinner and I need 5 minutes of silence!

Beat softened butter, add some olive oil (about 3/4 - 1 cup oil to 250gm butter, still working on the perfect ratio!), beat some more, refrigerate in a container and you have spreadable butter that doesn't cost a bomb.

Ellie Jane- the frozen pea thing- thats what we do every night for Mr2! Such a great idea huh?

We are expecting #2 in January and I hope this idea will make a real difference to our lives- my MIL suggested having a box full of toys, books and maybe a snack just for DS for when I am feeding the new baby. She said it worked really well for her, so I hope it'll work with us too!

Chickoin we do the home-made spread too. We do a half and half mixture of butter and ricebran oil (weighed) and we love it!

one idea I heard recently and juststarted doing- was for the linen cupboard store each duvet cover (and remaining pillowcases) inside the matching pillowcase. Easy to find and makes the cupboard look tidier.
