Man they suck! anyway i have lost there 0800 number and there site has changed to show only oz number.........does anyone have it.................this is only the 4th time i have phoned and each time they say the money will be in tomorrow............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Oooh yes I saw them on fair go too! Theres an 0800 on the acer website for cashbacks, its 0800 864 862.

I used to work for an IT company and I found Acer no better than giant paper weights. I also had quite a few instances where they would show up with less Ram than stated. Average Joe Bloggs doesn't check that kind of thing.

I want a Mac this time but DH wont let me buy a new pooter. This one is 3 years old now so way out of date but he says I have to make do.

Your lucky the one I have is 6 nearly 7 years old , I think this year is going to be the year for new ones in this house.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We too have had problems with getting our cashback from a purchase in July we were paid last month finally - but I had started hassling them every few days!

I brought a new Aser Laptop and had no problem getting the money back, once I sent in all the stuff they sent me an email saying it would take 75 days to process BuT I had the cheque by the end of the following week.

ok found this again and now i have to add to it............just phoned again..............they said they have a recorded conversation wioith them on the 19th i asked to hear this.........they said they couldnt............told them legally i can and without my permission they cant record conversations........they said oh and they would send it to me...................i wasnt even home that day to phone them so wat the f?????????????????? and once again i get promised money would arrive next week..........told them that i didnt want to take them to fair go again but if they push me i will............. cant you tell im p'd off...............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i was actually really good i didnt swear but now my face feels like you can fry an egg on it...............im sick of people owing me money dammit

We brought our Acer computer in August 2008, i just the claim progress in Debember and it said that they hadn't received any of my paperwork so I rung and gave them an earfull and all of a sudden my progress went from Awaiting Paperwork to Progressing cheque should arrive within 10 working days. I finally got the cheque in the post last week.

It sucked!!!!
