I am thinking about getting DD a Wishbone bike/trike but wanted to know if anyone had one and how they found it.
We have tried her on a few balance bikes but she is a wee shorty so can't reach the ground very easily if at all!
The reason I was thinking Wishbone is because she could use it as a trike until her wee legs grow a bit longer
Just thought its a fair bit of money to get one then find out they aren't that great.

Hi

We have one and it is great!  Our one year old loves it. He can't quite touch the ground with flat feet yet, but def knows what to do. We push him round on it, but whenever the garage door is open he's off and getting on it.

For those that have bought:
Keep an eye on the front wheel assembly - if you don't tighten the bolts regularly they loosen over time and the front wheel falls off (both wooden and plastic models have this issue - Wishbone aware of and apparently instructions tell you to check regularly). Ultimately you can glue the one that comes loose, but I'd like to see Wishbone resolve this problem.

Also on the wooden version, keep an eye on the screws holding the seat post. If the heads of the bolt/capping screw aren't sitting flush to the wood then the bolt is likely bent. My child's one got so bent before it was noticed that it was really hard to get out (have photo!) and this under normal use 2+ years - she isn't exactly a hard out rider doing jumps!
Wishbone think the seat post thing is a one-off issue. So if you spot yours doing the same thing, then get in touch with them so that they know they need to look into.

and I can't stress enough - check those front wheels regularly!
