For those of you who chose not to find out the sex of your baby when pregnant, did you have any inklings about what you were having? Maybe just a kind of suspicion? And were you right? If I had to put a bet on it, I'd say we are gonna have a boy, but since we're not going to find out, it's all just speculation - based on a hunch.
Interested to see if anyone else 'just knew'

I didn't find out but "just knew". At least I was 99% sure. For some reason I started saying "he" instead of "the baby" very early on, and so when they pulled him out and said "it's a boy" I wasn't surprised at all!

I was completely wrong with Jack, I thought he would be a girl. Mainly because almost everyone in our family (and most of DH's) have girls first.
With this pg I am pretty sure we are having another boy, mainly due to the timing of bd'ing. My parents think we are having a boy as well - but not for the same reasons as me!!

We didn't find out what we were having but I was completely convinced I was having a boy, like totally and utterly convinced. Every single person told me I was having a boy except for my Mum, she thought I was having a girl.
Mum was right as Lauren is very much a girl!

Yup I "knew" both times and was right both times. Don't know why but I was calling Leah a girl from about 8 weeks and Joel a boy from about 14 weeks. |

I didn't find out, but we started calling him a 'he' quite early on - simply because it was easier/nicer than 'it'. I didn't have any strong feelings either way, but did have dreams where I had a girl and was really disappointed!       I'd like to think I wouldn't have minded either gender, but am glad I didn't have to confront my dreams for real.

I thought girl girl girl, I even had dreams about baby girls, i drifted towards pink sections in the shops and obviously Finn is a boy and everyone always says when they see him that he is such a boy too - so my inklings totally wrong. |

I was the same as weegee (but in reverse ;)) and LeahandJoel. We did find out, but I never for a moment thought of the baby as a boy and always referred to her as 'her' (or it >.>) from the very start.
It'll be interesting when/if there's a next one to see if it works out the same way.

I was 99% convinced we were having a boy - I think helped by the fact that we couldn't come up with any boy names we both liked so when he came out I wasn't surprised at all, actually I'm not sure I even thought about it at the time, I just assumed he'd be a he |

we found out with jack, but i was convinced i was having a boy anyway, mostly because i didn't want one we didn't find out with charli and i was 100% sure i was having a boy until i was about 7-8mths and started having alot of dreams about having a girl. my mum was sure i was having a girl, so i started to doubt myself towards the end, but was VERY surprised when DH said 'we have a girl' |

We wanted to find out with Dominic but he wasn't cooperating when we had the scan. I gave my tummy a wee push to get him to move and round and he crossed his legs! He is still contrary too.
I wasn't sure what Dom was, I had a moment of complete clarity that he was a boy for about a week but then talked myself out of it.
I knew Isobelle was a girl before I even took the pregnancy test, we had a wee peek just to be sure tho.
Trust your instincts now and after your baby comes. A mother's instincts are strong and usually right, or as we tell our DH's always right |

We wanted to find out but had an uncooperative bubba when we went for the scan, so didn't know. I 'felt' I was having a girl but my partner was sure we were having a boy, so when our bundle finally arrived we were thrilled that she was alive and kicking, it really didnt matter what sex she was (even though I was sure).

My DD was uncooperative during her scan also. I wasn't sure, but my little sister was convinced that I was having a girl. Funny thing was I never came up with any boys names I really liked, but two girls names.
This time around DF would really like a boy, but I think its a girl based on ovulation and when we BDed.

I had strong inkling very early on that DD was a girl - I didn't have a preference to sway me but I just had a feeling and was pretty certain about it. Maybe it was because that month we started the BD from CD10 so on the theory that girl sperm live longer I figured maybe a girl. Then it was confirmed when I went for a scan at 16 weeks.

We found out (didn't really have a choice having weekly scans anyway) but I wanted girls but I always thought they were boys & got my self thinking boys would be good, no reason to it but just thought boys & Yep - boys they are.

when I was around 10 weeks pregnant I looked down at my belly and said you're a girl arent you :)
although i didnt want to find out officially until after the birth when I had the 20 week scan (I told the person doing the scan I didnt want to know the sex) after I got home and had a look at the CD I saw what looked liked 3 lines between baby's legs.

and well I was right :)
