Hi Ladies

I have a stomach which is worthy of an extreme makeover Tummy tuck (in fact I think mine is much worse than all the women I have seen on there!) You cant see my belly button because a rolly polly thing of stretched skin hangs over top. As a result, I have HORRIBLE skin rashes in and around my belly button. It weeps, and really stinks sometimes I wash and dry it twice a day but nothing really helps. I have tried powder but it just ends up curdling
Does anyone know what I can do/use? Anyone else share my horrible problem?

Oh you poor thing A bit of hydrocortizone from the doc would probably clear that up, or you could try Tui Bee Balm (from Tweedle) or Xma-ease (from health shops) for natural alteratives.

3B Action Cream may help? I use it between my legs when wearing skirts and it rocks. Worth a shot maybe?

Thanks ladies.

Its not really sore, its just awfully smelly. Its been like this since Janaya was born, but is much worse since I have lost weight. You'd think it would be the opposite?
I wonder if that means Southern cross will pay for a tummy tuck?

Sounds like a fungal infection to me. If you don't want to pay for a dr visit I'm sure a pharmasist could point you in thr right direction for over-th-counter meds.

What about curash powder to keep it dry?

Dunno if med insurance would cover but always worth asking the Q.

Sounds fungal to me too. I occasionally get fungal infections in my belly button too.

If you don't want to see the doctor who can do a swab to confirm what it is, as Chickoin said your pharmacist will be able to suggest something.
