Topic: Good Grief! Posted: 13 February 2009 at 7:43pm |
Okay, something is drastically wrong here.
My husband is doing housework. Not just vaccuming and moving stuff to somewhere else, he's pulled all the couches and chairs out, vaccumed, washed the floors (wooden floors) done the dishes, de-cluttered properly, sorted Thomas's gear out, cleaned out the kitten area PROPERLY and disinfected.. What the hell is going on!?!?!?!

Maybe he thinks today is Valentines Day and realised that housework is far more romantic to a new mum than flowers?

Haha unfortunatly no :P Now removing Thomas from the house for the day would be an excellent present! hehehe..
I gave him a list of things to do after he'd finished as well. He's refusing to clean the toilet tho :P

my HB has had a few incidents of random full house cleanups I atribute it to nesting, when he's not on one he leaves dirty cloths/dishes every where it all evens out I suppose. I wouldn't mind flowers and how do you get them do change diapers?? we are expecting our first in two months

Wow isn't it amazing when they do this? Praise him heaps and hopefully he'll do it again.
I wish my DH would do some tidying at the moment - our place is a tip because he cannot put anything in the right place.

I have the opposite problem - my DH is a clean freak! I barely put a glass down when I've finished drinking and he whips it away to the dishwasher. He even 'teaches' people how to clean the bench properly after he's done the dishes.
I've got no idea how he's going to cope when there's a newborn in the house and there's baby stuff left sitting around......
