Topic: Fuzzis??? Posted: 05 March 2009 at 2:44pm |
Just a quick question:
A friend of mine is looking to purchase some more fuzzi's - The last lot she brought of Ferrit but they are no longer. I use Itty Bittis so have no idea and she has tried googling to no avail - so who has them stocked on line?
If anyone is interested in selling some also let me know. She is after Mediums.
Thanks

My sister has a heap of both med and large, I am using a few of each as night naps but i'm sure she will sell the others. Can find out how much she wants if you like. They have been through 2 kids and were bought from the states, The inserts are pretty old now so she may not want them, but the covers are fine.

The honey child ones sound like they are the improved version of fuzzis, try their website too.

These are both different brands, not sure where people think Honey Child are the new improved version
Possibly cos Honey Child were the NZ distributor for Fuzzi's for quite some time. Now they have their own brand.

I bought mine from Mothers Instinct and haven't regretted it a bit. The service was fantastic and the product is perfect. I have used fuzzi's since DD2 was 4wks old and I haven't looked back. They are easy to use, easy to wash.

Yup - Honey Child is a completely different company from Fuzzi Bunz. We were the NZ distributor for a while back, but now we have our own range of nappies and accessories.
We just made a few improvements on the basic pocket design
We have had a lot of our customers who originally bought Fuzzis upsize to the Honeychild nappies, rather than go with the new Fuzzi Bunz design.

HoneyChilds are the rip-off version of fuzzis, and are way more expensive.
Fuzzis are $31 including an insert, HC are $37 including an insert. Simply not worth the extra money.
MILK in ChCh no longer stock Fuzzis, only honeychild.
Tweedle, Mothers Instinct and Snazzipants all stock fuzzis.

I have to disagree with your comments about HC. Yes they are more expensive than Fuzzis but I think they're an excellent product and sometimes quality is worth paying a little more for. I loved my original Fuzzis but when the Mexican-made ones came out and their associated problems, I really lost faith in the Fuzzi brand. I haven't tried the new-style ones (with square tabs) but I have since used HC and I think they're an excellent nappy. They're really well made & the inserts are more absorbent than those that come with a Fuzzi. And you can always pick them up pre-loved on TM (or on other websites) if you can't afford them full-price as they seem to stay looking nice (and working perfectly well) even after long-term use.
Just my opinion though.

Just got to second (or is it third? ) the endorsement of Mothersinstinct as a supplier.
Karyn is awesome to deal with and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wicked. Have passed all the info on! Thanks for all your help.
She had a wee stash of itt's but hated them (strange girl!) so I have brought them off her. Unofrtunately they are all red so my nappy collection is looking rather boring.
