Sara Douglass, a fantasy writer and one of my fav authors, is battling ovarian cancer

What a fright I got when I was mooching on her website, looking to see when her next book is due to be published, and read the news.

Some of you ladies may have read her books, she has written

BattleAxe, Enchanter & StarMan
Sinner, Pilgrim & Crusader
The Serpent Bride & The Twisted Citadel
The Nameless Day, The Wounded Hawk & The Crippled Angel
Hades Daughter, God's Concubine, Darkwitch Rising & Druid's Sword
Threshold
and Beyond the Hanging Wall

I read Sara Douglass ALL the time, am a huge fan. I read the news about the cancer a while ago. So sad.

Wow! I'm reading her books right now. Thats' so terrible (and even more terrible that I thought..."I hope she finishes the last book in the series I'm reading now"...)

BattleAxe is my top fantasy series. I recomend it to everyone; it's great for non fantasy readers too!

The Troy Game is my fav of her series, and love the Battleaxe books. Are you reading the Darkglass Mountain books, Surfergirl??

I read the BattleAxe/Wayfarer series years ago, then Threshold. Just read the Hanging Wall and first book of DarkGlass Mt. I'm now starting The Crucible series and have all the Troy books in my bookshelf waiting to be devoured...

I have yet to read the Crucible series (according to her website that is Sara's fav series ), there is a second DGM book i think, called The Twisted Citadel but she will be delayed in writing the next.
