Topic: Dodgy TM traders Posted: 20 March 2009 at 5:51pm |
I am so annoyed I brought 2 tops of a TM member just over two weeks ago and they haven't arrived! (she had good feedback).
I'm not the only one having problems with her. She had an excuse for last week and I understand that, but I got an email from her on Monday and she said she posted them on Monday. They are coming for ChCh so I should have received them in DN by now.
Yesterday I sent an email and no reply, today I sent another one asking for my money back - I'm guessing I won't get a reply from her. I have money to throw around on bad dodgy trades - anyone else want some!!!!!

That does suck! Mind you, I posted some nappies to LeahandJoel and they took over a week to get from Ak to Tauranga, and when I sent my SS present it took about 3 weeks so I have to say NZPost are not the most reliable in my experience.

It will be interesting - funny though that shes now getting quite a bit of neg. feedback from the others she traded with at the same time, I find it hard to believe that none of us have received parcels posted on the same day and shes not replying to emails now!

That really sucks. I'd give her one more week and then complain about her to TradeMe.

Yep thats what I'm thinking - I don't think she will reply to me - but over the weekend I might ask her if she enjoyed spending my money!

It does happen though ....
We got notification at work once as NZ Post had one of the mailbags stolen. We were notified as it was our local postshop and they were letting all the business's know.
Unfortunately it was at the same time we had sent out our monthly cheques .. and everybody thinks when you say "the cheque is in the mail" that you are talking sh*te .. lol.
But it was TRUE we had sent them .. they just got "lost" in transit

I just had a similar thing happen to me (over $60 in goods)
I got this stuff from a trader with good feedbacks etc and then didnt hear anything for a few days. I went to check on her listings to post in questions in case my email went to her junk box and discovered her account had been disabled. Another few days later and she replied to me stating that her niece had gone on a spending spree on her account and it got disabled that way due to bad trades. She assured me she was going to send off my goods asap and was trying to get hold of everyone else who had bought from her to do the same.
Its now been a week since I heard from her - i've emailed her everyday to see whats going on. Funny thing is she even said to me she was trading under her husbands account now and gave me the username - thats also been suspended.
So annoying >.<

Oh that just stink when that happens. In all honesty though I've had more grief with NZ Post than TM members!
I'm waiting on a parcel - didn't hear back from the trader for a week since asking for her bank account name, and saw that she hadn't logged on to TM since the day her auctions closed anyway. But how odd is this - it was a small sale, and my DH got a phone call from another trader who'd already paid this trader and also not received her (also small) parcel... she got the number off our house listing which she found through the feedback I'd put on the trade! How stalkerish! And she asked him to make a complaint to TM about this person being a dodgy trader. That seemed harsh to me since I hadn't paid, so nothing lost, really. I'm so glad I didn't, 'cause she did eventually contact me and explain how ill she'd been following baby's arrival. That said, the parcel is still on it's way, but I did say not to rush it given the circumstances!

Unfortunately I don't think its a NZ Post problem - she told a lady who purchased from her on the 5th (same day as me) parcel was in post on the 10th, then said something had happened and she had to go away, on Monday we got another email that she had posted on Monday the 16th (but she had supposedly posted on the 10th??? - how does that work )- today is Saturday surprise, surprise still no parcel and no emails from her - I would have thought if she had posted the parcel she wouldn't have an issue in contacting the purchasers that are asking her where the goods are.
