Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is using the Baby First cloth nappies? ( the ones that come with 2 inserts). How do you find them?
What are the problems?
Are they easy to wash/dry?
Can they go in the dryer? (if the weather is bad)

Please tell me about both the pros and cons.

Thanks

I don't use them sorry but the shop in town has just started stocking them so I had a look and was impressed. The stitching looked solid (I pulled them out of the packaging) and the inside was so soft! They were a good price too considering they come with 2 inserts! From what I saw I think I'd probably need more inserts for my toddler but in saying that I would def give them a go if I could persuade DP to let me buy more naps lol will be interested in seeing what replies you get for my future MCN spend-ups...

I have 3 of them, they are good for the price but so far the idea of reusing the cover before washing has worked once! My boy wets right thru the insert, keep meaning to make some hemp booster inserts to add. Had no leaks from them though, except for once when the top of the insert stuck out the top of the cover.
Although I've discovered that pockets and AIO's are easier to put on a wiggly baby, because the loose insert gets moved around before the nappy is on!
They are ultra easy to wash and dry, the covers are almost dry when they come out of the washing machine. I don't have a dryer, so not sure if they are dryer friendly.

I bought mine off the Mum & Bubs website, here's the link:
http://www.mumandbubs.co.nz/babyfirst.htm

Also, they are nice and trim, not too bulky, but the leg holes are a little wider than some small MCN's, so my little man's not-so-chubby thighs are just fitting him nicely now. They have a decent rise on them though, so will fit him for a while. I think he's going to grow out of his Itti soon!
