Yep - they both get used lots in this house, i love them!! Stops the annoying 'eeeehhhhhhhhhhh'
Help - pat your upper chest with 2 hands (like above each boob lol), a couple of times
Please - rub small circle on upper chest with one hand

Awesome! Thanks arohanui...
Any others you can recommend?
Currently we just do: More, thank you, had enough (finished). We stopped doing it for ages cos we got no response....but recently he has started picking them up again, so I am slowly adding more.

Drink is a good one - just make a motion like you're tipping a glass.

I just typed up a list of all the signs Harry's doing at the mo to update everyone on his blog, so here's what he does...
More
Finished
More please
Hot
Help
Shower
Cat
Dog
Wipe hands
Wipe face
Please
Gone/where?
Eat
Milk
Drink
Fish
Wave bye bye
Blow kisses
So not a whole heap, but we find them helpful. He's just recently started doing drink, it looks so cute. Let me know if there's any of these you want to know the signs for

We sign 'more' by pointing to the palm of your hand with your pointer finger from your other hand. I've also seen it done with fingers and thumb together, as if you're placing something in your hand. And for 'more please', you just sign 'more' and then 'please' (description above).
A really good book (NZ too) is 'baby sign language for hearing babies' by Karyn Warburton.

Yes, both help and please with an open hand.
Hot - hold up your index finger and blow on the tip of your finger, like you're blowing out a candle. Actually that might be the sign for candle, but we use it for hot. And at the same time we say "hot, ouch"
Wipe hands and face - I just made them up lol.
Wipe hands - rub my hands kinda together like you do when you're holding them under a tap to wash them
Wipe face - with an open palm, kinda rub it on my cheeks.
Though the wipe face one kinda backfired a bit lol cos it's very popular (he does it at the end of every meal) but he wipes the side of his head and then gets food in his hair lol.
Gone/where - hold your hands up in the air, palms up, kinda like you would if you were shruggling your shoulders and saying "where's it gone?!" (this one is sooooo cute when they do it).
Hope those descriptions are ok... let me know if they're not clear enough!!
Oh and as you see, you can totally just make up your own signs as to what makes sense to you. Often kids make up their own signs too - actually that's one I forgot to add to my list... Harry made up the sign 'muzzie' by holding one hand against his face, like he's cuddling his muzzie. Bless.

It's nice to do some for things they see in everyday life too.
Rowan does Dog (pat hand on thigh), Cat (stroke forearm) Flower (finger and thumb pinced under nose like you're smelling a flower) and Bubbles (go from closed fist to open hand with both hands and make popping noises).
