I didn't think any one had them down south. It's too cold for them to grow properly.

I'm tempted to put them out on the footpath to see if someone will take them off my hands. They are still falling from my tree's so I have plenty.

My neighbours trees are the same - they have a hedge of about 10 trees (and don't eat feijoas). On Friday I collected a whole banana box full to take to work with a whole heap of plastic bags - so everyone who wanted could take a big bag home. Could you send some to work with DH? Or yeah put them out the front of your house with a sign saying 'Free feijoas, help yourself'... I'm sure you have neighbours who would love them!

They're out on the lawn, it's funny watching people drive past and have a good gork but keep driving.

They are big too I took a photo the othe day, my first leomn off our tree a feijoa and an orange and the lemon was the smallest.

I am soo jealous!! I love them and my Mum ripped out her 6 trees to put in a vege garden - was so gutted.

I have a tree but have only just planted it so it hasn't fruited (?) yet.

Given bags away, DP has taken some to work, I have taken some to PC & the local op shop.

Hey, now now glow. I was in first.

How long would they last in the post?? My mum used to post lemon's to her parents in wellington from here. lol

Yeah there in the bucket on the lawn, we don't have a fence and our section is raised slighly so you'd see them.

I still have some inside that wouldn't fit in the bucket and they're today's ones a bit hard still.
