I've done one for Andrew - his first year. I started with the birth, important things like time, date, weight, who was there and photos. Then going home, photo of home. First outing, where it was who was there and photos. 6 week check - jabs and weight. Then continued with important checks and things that happened. he had a few pages for his 3 month trip to Australia.

You can get scrapbooking kits and supplies from shops like Paper Plus, although I'm pretty sure the Warehouse has the same types of stuff - and then you just go from there ! It's something I've been interested in doing too, but don't know where to start either.

I've just bought a few packs too and am looking forward to getting started so it will be good to see some ideas!
For those in the North Shore area or who don't mind a drive I found a great shop up in Silverdale called the Craft Spot which just has the coolest stuff for scrapbooking...got me really excited!

I used heaps of stickers more letters and number to spell out words and beads, I have hot glue guned them onto the page. I've just done a scrapbook page for my friend (10x13) to go on her daughters wall in a frame. It just has her full name - and what it means, the date she was born and heaps of stickers and a photo of just after she was born. I also got to metal stickon things one has foot prints and the other has hand prints. I'm going to do one for this baby once we know what it is i'll buy things for it and put it together all of next year.
Wedding one, look at your photos and work out which one you love and want to put in it. If you had a reading get a copy of that and put in in. Your vows if you wrote them. Also I have known people to but their budget and receipts in the scrapbook.

I LIVE at the scrapbooking shop on Lunn Ave. Depending on where you are, Kazzle, you could look at the different classes shops run. I know the Lunn Ave one has one offs on all different themes - you can also borrow their magazines or work from them at the shop itself.

i have all the stuff to do the ones for the girls.. have planned each page - down to colours i wanted, got the paper, got the sitckers etc.. just have to actually do them.. never get time and when i do.. i fill it with other stuff.
I found a good way to inspire different pages was to go through all the photos collections we had and find themes.. paris has a "i love my bunny" page with pics of her and her special cuddly bunny, she also has a sleepy page for all those pics when she went to sleep where she shouldn't have.... and her birthday pages are themed like the themes of her birthday.
I love spotlight... could just buy so much from there.
Aw, i want to finish hers now.

The last photos I have in our album are from when Ella was 7 months lol.. I've printed lots since then - but for other people!!
I bought a scrapbook with good intentions.. but haven't started yet! Hope the paper won't fade before she's 20 - might have time then

I have one for the boys. I wanted to have one each but thought I'd leave it, til I actually had filled a page. I want to do the same for my time in Japan. I have a million photos of various people, in a various degrees of inebriation at karaoke. I also have about a million of temples that i would like to have a bit more of an explantation before I forget where it is.
My nana goes to card-making at has lots of ideas she passes on.,
One was using those little glass slides used for microscopes - you put pictures under tham and use them kinda like buttons.
she also prints of multiples of the same thing, and puts foam underneath parts of them to make it 3D. hard to exaplin but looks cool. I did a cool spongebob card like it for my nephew. Must remember to do Father's day card stoo. one for Lewis, one for my dad and his! sigh!
