Thats freaky chick hugs to you both! Hope this helps!

Facts on honey and cinnamon: It is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cures most diseases.
Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a 'Ram Ban' (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases.
Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients.

CHOLESTEROL:
Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, was found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. Pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol.

Strawberries are also good for your levels - serve them as dessert whenever your hubby has red meat.

Give the Heart Foundation a call (or check their website) - I'm sure they have lots of resources available.

Willie had high cholesterol, he is on medication for it now - Lipex I think it is (he's on a few for different things and I sometimes forget which one is which).

He is on a thing called Care Plus at our GP where he has to go in every 3 mths and get his blood pressure and weight checked and have blood taken to check his cholesterol and sugars. I'm not at all surprised that his cholesterol, BP etc are high tho - he just turned 50, is overweight, has a family history and is Maori so ticks all the boxes.

wow that is high! my mum has high cholesterol too, she eats a LOT of avocados, has low fat milk and cheese and has that cholesterol lowering margarine, and basically tries to eat pretty healthy. in fact shes one of the healthiest eating people i know!

i have also been told i have slightly high cholesterol, around 5.8 (and im only 23, and it should be definately under 5 and recommended to be around 4).

the only things they said to me were getting more exercise and eating healthier.
