we put mikey in his own room last night (better late than never right?) and he slept better than he ever has before! he only woke up twice and even then went straight beck to sleep. he slept from 7.30pm to 8.30am!!!
me on the other hand, i hardly slept all night and ran down the hall to check on him at least 3-4 times. i was miserable!! i'm so used to being able to hear him breathing and moving around that i really noticed when he wasn't there, even though he was only on the other side of the wall.
ah well, i guess i'll get used to it......right?

well done its such a big step moving them to their own room.... and if it helps i still check on my oldest girls several times a night!!! and they are 2.5 and almost 4!
and i moved my first daughter into her own room at 14 months only because i was expecting my second! but moved number 2 into her own room at 5 months because she was such a light sleeper, it would just take a sneeze or a cough or something to wake her up.

hope that it keeps going good and you start to sleep a bit better.

Thanks.
i know i should have moved mikey to his own room earlier because he's a really light sleeper as well, but i just didn't make the connection and all i could think was that i didn't want to be running down the hall every time he wakes up, i didn't even think that maybe hell sleep better by himself.
and it's good to know that i'm not the only one who needs to go and check on my baby.

You girls are good, Olivia is trotting on 4 months and I'm reluctant to let her go. I'm going to wait till after her heart scan and her next load of injections at the 5 month mark, then she will be in her own room. I must admit, I will miss my baby when the time comes, so I'm enjoying every minute of her little snores and coughs now!
