Yup I do. Easy peasy Marshmallow fondant. It is really yummy for the kids too.
Either buy or make (i use the edmonds recipe doubled to make sure it is white) approx 400-500 grams (3 to 4 bags) of marshmallows.
Melt marshmallows with 2 tbsp of water in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time or until melted.
Mix in approx 750 grams of icing sugar or as much as you need for the marshmallow to form a ball.
Coat hands & counter in oil/butter (I use shortening personally) and knead mixture until it becomes smooth and elastic. If it gets sticky add more icing sugar. It usually takes around 5-8 minutes of kneading to get to this stage.
This can be used immediately or refrigerated in cling film for up to 2 weeks. Just microwave for a short time to get it back to a soft, rollable consistency.
If you want it coloured it is easiest to do this in a zip lock bag or similar so you don't get it all over your hands.
Your welcome. I have used this one on both of Sam's birthday cakes so far and it is nice and easy to make. It is delicious - sooooo sweet I did forget to say that I use a nice thick butter cream icing between the cake and the fondant to make sure it comes out smooth. Let me know if you need a recipe for a yummy one.
And thanks Another pigeon pair. We are very excited
