Campbell has been having day sleep issues, which I think are either due to self settling or day routine problems. I have been looking at the "Save Our Sleep" book by Tizzie Hall and the "Sleepeasy Solution" DVD that the Sleep Store sells, and have been wondering if it will be worth buying one of these. Has anyone read or seen either of these? Are they any good, and are they worth buying?

I have looked at our local library catalogue, and the "Save Our Sleep" book is there but is checked out til the end of the month, don't know if I should wait that long, or just buy it.

Poor you Whitewave! Another dvd you could look at is Sharleen Poole, 'the Baby Whisperer'. I'm going to buy it soon myself but have heard the most amazing stories from friends who've had private sessions with her or just used techniques from the dvd. Good luck!

I've heard that the Save our Sleep routine is fantastic and am seriously contemplating buying the book myself. I hope things get better for you soon.

We followed the SOS routines from about 8 weeks and they are fantastic, although quite strict to start with. There is a website where you can take a look at some sample routines and also download the routines if you don't want to wait for the book at your library - not sure of the cost though.

I haven't tried either of those books. Personally I have loved and used "Sleeping like a baby" by Pinky McKay and "No Cry Sleep Solution" by Elizabeth Pantley. Both books have been a great help to us. I have borrowed both from our library and then ended up buying them as I thought they were great. If you decide to buy any books try TM first as that is where I got some of mine and for a lot cheaper than retail

ETA: both authors have websites that have some tips you could check out first

I HATED the Save our Sleep book. It was so strict, and the author so bossy, just reading it pissed me off. But I know people who liked it.

I did really like the book that Linzy mentioned, Sleeping like a baby, so much more baby friendly.

Mika is not a good day sleeper either. But I am now accepting that, she may just be a baby that's more wakeful during the day. Her nights are pretty decent though.

Thanks for the advice, not sure how strict I could be, so maybe I'll go with another book!
Will try looking for those books suggested on TM.
