we are off down there in a few weeks (treat for my birthday from hubby and accomodation from my boss!) with child...we are only there 3 days...
so been a few years since I was there - and was young(er) and single....what should we DEF take Ella to see and do while there? We have rental car so no worries getting around and have apartment to stay at central to town...
We arent skiers - but want Ella to be able to play in the snow (and make use of the snowsuit and boots I bought her!)...
any ideas or MUST SEES???? ideas of restaurants / cafes for dinners with a 2 year old! (Katherine - do you want a travel guide done? LOL!)

In the latest issue of OHbaby! Magazine, which hit the shops on Monday this week, we have a travel story devoted to a mid-winter family break in Queenstown! It's on pages 72-73, and covers heaps of family-friendly activities. Check it out for inspiration! :)

yes, I was only about 5 months pregnant with Tom. Or was it that Gabrielle was 5 months....one or the other....or both. Lots happened since then.
Definitely let me know when you are going through Cromwell, otherwise we can always come over to Qtown.
Sorry, cant tell you what there is to do as we dont really do much LOL.

I am heading there this weekend can't wait!
Hmm I am not too sure on stuff for small kids, but I think a couple of things would be:
The steamship which heads over to Walter Peak High Country Farm or you can just go for the return ride and you don't have to get off (which is what we did).
Deer Park Heights - this was pretty cool! You drive through and you can stop and buy food for sheep and other animals and they come right up to you! There are the most stunning views there aswell.
Playing in the snow will probably be her favourite part
