I'm five months pregnant and am having sore breasts every couple of days with this one. I have recently grown 1 1/2 sizes so there's a bit of work happening there obviously.

Is there any good relief out there or do you just have to wait it out?

I found my actual nipples were sore rather than my whole breast, and I found that using a nipple cream helped coz they were dry.

I have found great relief in getting a bigger bra that fits me properly and doesn't scrunch my nipples up like little raisins any more. Well the simplest things eh?
But yes I have been using a rich moisturiser on my nipples as they were really dry and sore, but not specifically a nipple cream, spose it might be a better idea to use something that's made for the job though, back to the pharmacy then

Don't forget to use stretch mark cream on your boobs as well, mine were really stretched out by the end of this last pregnancy.

once you actually get Breastmilk in. lol, that's just a good for soothing and healing sore nipples and it's free.. just express a bit and smooth it over the nipples and let air dry (lol sounds like you're hanging em out on the line i know).
For now, does heat, or cold work.. sometimesone or the other can help...warm flannels etc placed on them.

Thanks everyone. Seems everything was happening last week - growth spurt, 2kg (on me), stretch marks, super-tiredness, sore breasts... they seem to have settled down so now *sigh of relief* must be related to the growth spurt I guess.

*Sighs again* here come all the regular growth spurts where you can't do anything for a week at a time    lol (weakly)
