i would not do it while TTC, i know the mechanisms are slightly different but on fat blockers and fat strippers they geneally say not to near near if pg or BFing because if it is in your system in can get into theirs and stop them putting on fat, both in vitro and out which is pretty bad news

I would ask your Dr, and if there is any doubt dont do it. Its just not worth the risk...

My Dr said it would be better for me to try another method of weight loss.
I am doing Jenny Craig which I did 10 yrs ago and lost 26kgs. I have just finished my 1st week and have lost 1.5kg.

Anyone tried the Body for Life diet? My mum lost about 5kg in less than 2 weeks and DP lost 10 I didn't lose any coz I was at a healthy weight but found my body shape changed. Its a really balanced way of eating and the weight seemed to fall off my family who was doing it. Nobody was exercising at first but when my mum and dad started walking the difference was like incredible! We still eat like that and none of us have any junkfood cravings anymore (except for me when I was in first trim). The food is so good, easy to chuck together and filling.

I haven't tried the Body for Life diet but it looks interesting. Did your family use the Myoplex bars and shakes? Are they available in NZ?

Nah we get a container of sculpt and use that lol myoplex is available but its ridiculously expensive!! We don't use the bars either - theres heaps of options for snacks that are just as easy. We all wanted something that was pretty normal and wasn't gonna put us all out of pocket. Its more of a lifestyle for me and DP now and having Jake its gotta be stuff that he can eat too so yeah I wouldn't recommend including too many extras.
