Topic: Well wishes for Lena Posted: 05 October 2006 at 7:07pm |
Not sure if everyone knows but Lena is finally getting married this weekend. I have organised with her older sister to keep her away from the computer (not that she will come near it - they have a lot of organising still to do) and this will be a surprise for her.
What we would like is for people that know her (either in person, or as a online friend - most of us) to put a well wish on here and I will on either Friday evening or Saturday morning (will know after talking to her sister tonight when she can get to the computer and she is out of the house) put them into an email and send them off to her sister and she will read them out at her wedding - being a complete surprise to her, but knowing that she has people thinking of her on her big day.
If you would rather not post it here, PM it to me instead. It would be nice if we can put a real name to a screen name for her as well please.

whenever we go to a wedding hubby's favourite phrase to write in the book/teddy that gets passed around is
my all the future ups and downs in life be in bed.
not sure thats appropriate considering I only know Lena though here but do send her my congratulations and wishes for a great day and happy married life.

Best of luck on your special day Lena, I'm sure Arna will be suitably gorgeous (but not upstage the bride of course!) and I hope it is a perfect start to a perfect life together for you and David.
Take care,
Emma and Maya (and the refusing-to-budge gremlins)

Ok I have spoken with her sister and I am going to send the email off to her tonight with the well wishes at about 9pm so we have until then for them to be put on and said at her wedding tomorrow. I am going to put the way to say some names as well so she doesn't mess them up.

Her sister said it went well. After the panic they had with the day's leading up. I got a text from her sister on Thursday to thank me for being so organised with my wedding. I didn't feel like I was organised but she told me they were still doing things that I had done weeks ago and the little things were more imortant than the big things to a few people. I'll see what I can get out of her sister and report back.
