Hiya, there is a ABC on fraser st, which is prob the closest to that. We live in Maungatapu that has a kindy and primary school which are both really good and I can see turret road from here. Also down near turret road is the cathlic primary school. Are you moving to turret road?

ABC is technically walking distance prob only 1.5km but its up a big hill, if you want ill check the actual distance on my way to work. The school and kindy in maungatapu wouldnt be though to much over the main road bridge really. We moved here 3 years ago and I love it now, what was it you guys didnt like? I could help you get your bearings and DH does a mean barbie!

Hey TysMummy... there is another daycare on 15th Ave too - Liliput (just around the corner from Tauranga Boys' College - so in between Fraser st and Devonport rd) and a brand new preschool on 15th Ave called Juniuni (where I have my girls signed up for in 2011- but they only take from 3 yrs old).
I've heard lots of great things about Maungatapu Primary School.
LOL Andriea - we live in Maungatapu too and can see Turret rd from our place too

We can see a bit of water - over towards town - actually now that I think about it can see more of Memorial Park then Turret rd! I got mixed up where Turret was... just wish the house in front wasn't so big and we could also cut their trees down so we could have even more views!
Glad to hear about Maungatapu Primary...if we stay here - that's probably where our girls would end up I went in this week to take my girls forms for the Dental nurse - and it is such a nice, tidy school to walk around. Lovely feeling inside the grounds.

Oh KK! I keep forgetting you are from Tauranga! The Shell station is on 15th Ave - Turret rd runs on to that - it runs along the water from the end of 14th ave and connects up with 15th Ave. So near the Shell Station.

totally off topic, but kimmies how do you cope with a 2,1 and 4 month old. I'd love any suggestions to make life easier at the moment our youngest are 4, 2 1/2 and 15 months with another one due in nov. Weve seemed to muddle along so far but it always seems caotic and our boys (4 &2 1/2) are nearly always fighting. Sorry to change topic a bit.

lol Andriea - we have just a 2 and a 1 yr old.... it is 4 mths till we leave for Canada - on a year long teaching exchange.
Even with our two being so close in age...believe me...we muddle along too - only know do I feel like I can take on a lot of extra things - I produced Tauranga Boys' Colleges major school Production "Blood Brothers" this year - I must have been crazy cos it was SO much work - and juggling the two girls as well - but it was important for me to switch my artistic brain again and be around some more adults
I can't imagine how you juggle all of yours!! You have quite the handful! My girls are just starting to interact and play fight - my youngest is not quite walking - so I have to time out Georgia for sitting on her at times She's still young herself and doesn't realise that Matilda is still a baby!
