Having been told by the Gentle Dental Centre that I need to get a root canal and they want to lighten my pocket by $1200 I want to shop around and get some other quotes.

Especially as it's not the only work I need to get done

Who is your dentist and are they good?

TBH I didn't get warm and fuzzies from the dentist either and if he's going to be drilling holes in my mouth I'd prefer to trust him

Go to the People's Centre in Lukes Lane. You do not have to be a beneficiary.

I have just had a root canal done there for $800. You have to pay 6 -months membership up front but that is only $60.

They have done a good job on me!

It is also only $45 for a check up inclduing 2 x-rays

I go to Karen Harris on the Terrace, not really sure how the pricing compares though!
