Topic: Baby Banz earmuffs/sunnies Posted: 26 September 2009 at 12:00pm |
Has anyone bought these for their children, and how have you found them? We are looking at getting some for the girls for when we are away for racing next year, and Baby Banz seems to be the only retailer in NZ that offers the ear muffs at least.
Otherwise, have you bought from any other retailer, online or otherwise?
Thanks!!

We got Kaelin the earmuffs (off trademe) and are really happy with them. She wears them around the farm and doing jobs with her dad. Friends of mine use them for going to the drifting races etc and her son can sleep with them on. Also know someone who got sunhats and sunnies off the website and is really impressed with them. Quick postage too

That's what I was thinking too Emma...no pink!!
Sounds like the TradeMe ones are a good option. Thanks ladies...they're an essential for us, seeing DH races at speedway, and there's not too many options around!!!

Yay I'm glad you posted this Kate as we need to get our girls some for all the music festivals at the end of the year. Our life becomes slightly nomadic in the summer months lol. I'd been looking but had only found Australian sites that sell them. Yay $35 is so cheap!

Kate, what and where does your hubby race? BIL races a sprintcar at Western Springs, but we have come down to Palmy and Wellington a couple of times over last years season. We have been on the hunt for some mini earmuffs too as DP virtually lives at speedway and is busting a nut to introduce Jae to that world lol! The ones on TM look good as they come with both earmuffs and sunnies... only have another 3 weeks to make up our minds though...

My kids hve the sunnies. Way cute, however they both hate them and take them off almost straight away as they sit really close to there eyes, and I guess they can feel it when they blink? Anyways they don't like to wear them. I was gutted as they are so cute, however they are both very good at keeping normal kids sunnies on now so really have no need for the band part.

Babykat - he races midgets at Stratford, athough we sometimes travel to Palmy and Kihikihi and we also do the Harrisville meet each year. DH and his dad both race so it's quite a competition, not just for points (that's more DH's aim) but father vs. son LOL They are taking this season off, because of our renovations and the girls, but we will still be going down regularly, and after Christmas DH will be doing some meetings. We have figured that as long as they are warm, fed and protected from the noise and dust, we can take them down (so after Christmas most likely), because it's a huge part of our life.
Ro - that would be awesome!!!
