I think James needs one. He currently likes either my boob or my hair...neither is great long term (LOL). He has a teddy and a golliwog that he likes but they are really too much for him right now. I notice when he falls asleep on me he is often running his fingers through his or my hair. I'm wondering about a taggy blanket. But then I saw the cuskis on sleepstore's site and they looked lovely.

What do you use and what do you recommend?

My advice is whatever you choose, buy two and make sure that they are easy to buy if you need to replace!

My DD's comforter is a Deglingoes baby rabbit - very cute when she got it and she adores it, but unfortunately they stopped importing them in NZ so when we wanted a second one I had to have it sent over from Australia. This baby I'm going to make sure her comforter is something a little easier to source in NZ!

My boy had a little blanket but he didn't like it and decided himself to have a little dog. Pain in the butt to clean but can't get him to like anything else.

Lil miss has a Lola Noukies blanket which is basically a taggy blanket, actually she has two and we alternate them. I bought the gremlins a really soft Beatrix Potter soft toy with blanky thing, Mercedes has Peter Rabbit which she loves and won't sleep without (she has two of them too lol), but Sienna never took to Jemima Puddleduck and instead latched onto a random $5 stuffed bunny rabbit of my sisters and try as we might we can't find another one the same. Oh and of course, Maya has the infamous "fussy bubba"

Stu has a fleecy blankie, its just a 30cm square of two bits of microfleece sewn together. I made him two, and can easily make another if need be!

Henry has a sleeping teddy (well thats what we call it anyway). It was sent over to us from finland though so i hope we never lose it lol. It stays in his cot so hopefully we are safe. Its a teddy bear that has no stuffing in the body part so hes been able to grab hold of it since he was real young. I think its really cute.

Sadly i dont like the one that MIL chose from finland for our next baby. It just isnt as cute as sleeping teddy. But i guess it doesnt matter if i like it

Luke slept in a pekemoe (flannalette) as a baby and so when I took him out of that, I cut the bag into two for him to have for bedtime (peekie). He will now use an old fashioned cloth nappy at a stretch as well - always choose something easy to replace or replicate!!

DD uses a scrappy piece of soft muslin - part of a muslin wrap she used to be swaddled in - fast to launder and easy to replace.
