Aarrgg Nesting

I know its not a bad thing to nest but it is starting to drive me nuts. All I want to do is clean, but I need to be studying - I have exams in less than 2 weeks now. I have so far today vacuumed all the floors, made all the beds, cleaned every single cd cover (well over 100) and then cleaned the stereo and tv as well as the cabinet. I have now sprayed the floor in the kitchen to soak up any yucky mess then scrub the edges and the mops. I want to clean my bathroom - I did it yesterday go figure. And then i'll look at the pantry and clean that out too. i'm sure the fridge will get a clean out at some stage as well. I'm not sure if its the cleaning product I want to use as I love the smell of it - mr muscle glass and surface cleaner.

I am also stocking up on all sorts of crazy things in the pantry and fridge/freezer.

Anyone else having/had 2nd trimester craziness?

I'm sure dh wishes I have the nesting thing - not a whiff. I would not go looking for housework - if it's really really bad I'll do it but not otherwise. I've even gone off cooking a little and normally I LOVE cooking. So not me - if anything I'm lazier than normal. Anyone else?

PS. I do work full time though so maybe that's why...

When I was pregnant with Andrew I got the cleaning later on. I finished work at 36 1/2 weeks and was cleaning and cooking a storm.

Maybe this is a second pregnancy thing. And I just got my summer school paper info from the courier man . I was scrubbing the floor and he walked up the steps. Had a little laugh at me then I stood up and he saw the bump. All he said was "nesting?", then "your doing a summer school paper as well". I told him I wasn't due to Feb and the exam is the day after I am due. He laughed at me.

Having said life is too short for house work, yes the only time I absolutely must hoover from top to bottom and dust and mop and stuff is when I have an essay due or a presentation to finish, so it could be an "anything is better than diabetic nephropathy essay" thing I have too

yes mummy_becks I am totally agreeing with the craziness of nesting!!!!! I am at the stage that I am getting tired as still working full time as a nurse as well as having the urges of literally scrubbing the house before and after work. My 10yr old is helping me (what a good girl) but my 5yr old just likes to sit around and watch. This however doesnt bother me as I am so into the cleaning buzz that I have started moving things around just to find more things to clean ARRRG when will this end LOL

definately a study thing - my house is always clean and i am the most up to date with whats happening on here and everyone i know when i have assignments or i am supposed to be studying. lol.

I've done stuff at work as well. I took all the ice off the sides of the tiptop icecream holder last weekend and cleaned the coffee machine out.

ice cream AND a coffee machine at work...sounds like heaven....!!!!

I nested later on but i got mad coz corys friend had our vaccum and i desperately wanted to vaccum the kitchen so i found the brush and shovel and swept the floor on my knees and then proceeded to mop it lol Cory thought it was hilarious!!
