Hi Girls

For the last two-three days i have had a bit of a sore stomach on the lower right hand side around my hip bone. It dosnt hurt all the time but yesterday i noticed that when i got up and walked around it cramped for about 3 mins then went away. It does it on and off during the day, most of the time not too much but does hurt sometimes. It's hard to explain where it is but it's at feels like it's just above my hip bone in a circular motion going around, im meant to be 14 weeks pregnant tomorrow but thought id see if any of you might know what it is before i ring the midwife , has anyone experienced this before and is it something i should be concerned about ? , im Also only 18 years old.

Thank you

At a guess I'd say it's the round ligament stretching. the round ligament help support the uterus and as it grows it stretches the ligament causing the pain. Luckily it doesn't hurt the baby, Mine played up a couple weeks back ended up taking a few days rest and was careful how I moved, fast movements agrivated it no end. Talk to your midwife she might be able to give you a  better Idea than me.

You could try and Google " round ligament pain"  might be of some help

Sounds like the normal ligament stretching and stuff. If it's really worrying you though you should always ring your MW as they are the experts and may have another view on the situation.

I agree with the round ligament pain, google it and see if it sounds like what your experiencing! If not you could ask your mw. I got quite worried when I first got it! But mw said it's normal.
