Parent anc Child show, and I must say it was well worth it! People just went gaga over the gremlins so I got twice as much free stuff. I counted my nappy samples and I got 32 nappies! And fr all my complaining about how much I don't like the Treasures people, I got 20 free samples of Treasures Ultra, and each one came with a $1 off coupon, so I might have to change my opinion on that one... The Treasures subscribers goody bags were pretty good too.
Highlight of the show tho was these really cool heat pack things that you snap and they get hot instantly then you reboil them. Soooooo good formy sore boobies. Oh and the My Blanket people, love them too....

It was fabulous wasn't it!! I also got a Treasures goodie bag - WOhoo! Didn't score so many 'spoises though but then I did buy *more* cloth nappies...trail pack from Snazzipants and Ecobots...wohoo!!
I could have spent so much money there.

Hehe, yep I'm a total consumer! My home help nanny started last Tues but to be honest I'm finding it hard to know what to do with her. The girls sleep so much. But Thurs I left them with her and Maya and I went on a 'date' to the park and had lunch together.
Paws - LOL at the 'more' cloth nappies - Gsmum is still trying to convince me to try modern cloth but I'm stuck on the good old cloth squares. I did score a couple of free Snazzipants covers with the cool sign that Gsmum made for my pram tho

LMAO! Paws I just read your ticker. How very very true!
We're not going to the show this weekend at all as I'm a totally paranoid mum and want to keep a close eye on Caitlin to make sure she is over her jab reaction *sigh*

Whew ! Good thing we went early Erin loved it, and Roland was quite happy to tote her around in the front pack - we can finally have her facing outwards now that she has a bit more head control. As far as good buys go, I think my favorite deal *had* to be the 1kg boxes of Persil Sensitive for $3 !

I loved the show but like Jax am so pleased we went early (actually arrived before it opened). The persil was a great bargin, as was our pram, which we got for $100 off, is getting couriered in a few weeks.
Picked up a few other things, but by the end I had just had enough and wanted to go home. What did annoy me was the lack of food for pregnant women (perhaps that was just me), I really felt there was little there for me to eat, and it got really hot in there but again that could have been me. The avent ladies were very kind and found me a seat and got me a drink of water to try and cool down.
Oh and the little treasures goodie bag, what a score! so much free stuff in there

I agree!! The cafe was really bad!!! Next year I'm taking a picnic!
I didn't visit the persil stand but we did get eco store powder for $5 plus some discount coupons. We also picked up the Ecostore baby wash and massage oil to try as well.

I got a box of Huggies newborn for $29.95 from Diapers Direct, it's being delivered on Mon, and 3 packs of Sealer nappies for $10 which is great coz my girls are eating their way thru a packet of nappies every two days atm.
We didn't go near the cafe, but I did scoff the free Peanut Butter cups I got from Curash (then felt guilty since I am on a no peanut breastfeeding diet...)

yep i went today...I saw to set of twins there...both were very young, maybe a couple of weeks old at the most. One set were girls and the other was a boy and girl....very cute and everyone went gaga over them.
Man i came home with heaps of nappies and entered in as many competitions as i could. I thought i was worth while paying $2 to get those stickers with your details on it saved heaps of time instead of having to write your details down.
Best buy the pack of vibrating condoms LOL....nah i got Lycan a new keep-it-kleen pacifier..It has shields and closes instantly when dropped.
