4 days till little mans birthday!
why can't I be happy to still be pregnant this time?
different little things gets bringing me to tears, you think Id be happy to have been married for 5 years but then I think 'this time 3 years ago I was happy then basically it turned to custard' blah blah blah

anyone got any ideas to help me overcome this! Im tired of feeling tired and sad! I just want it to be like it was before aidans early arrival!

Have you considered contacting Maternity Mental Health?

 

I'm not saying your nuts or anything, just that having that support from counsellors who are skilled in this area can be a massive help.

 

MMH have worked wonders for me and I'm so glad to know they are sticking by me until well after baby is born.

i think the early arrival of any baby makes you feel 'robbed'. I don't know if this is exactly how you feel, but I know when it was the boys birthday it just made me tearful, thinking how early they were and going through NICU etc, the experience was just so unreal, it doesn't feel fair, missing out on all those experiences you normally have with a new born.

books I've read about premmies say it can take years to deal with those feelings. I guess talking about it does help though.

Chin up! You have 2 beautiful boys and number 3 on the way. I'm sure his birthday will be wonderful
