Help please!!!

I cant think of what to get to try and fill Rorys stocking for xmas. I have already got him a couple big things for xmas but am stuck for the smaller things. He already has lots of teddies and toys and quite a few books and videos.

I only have 20-30pw to budget with and this is already pushing it as i have to buy presents for other people and food for xmas too with that money so i need things SUPER cheap. Im really un-creative so cant make anything and dont really have anything to make with.

I really want this xmas to be as perfect as i can get and am starting to worry i will only have a couple things to put in Rorys stocking

Does anyone have ANY ideas of things i can get? Any ideas will do. TIA

How about a xmas decoration that he could put on the tree or a little bottle of bubbles that you could both "play"with? I got my DS some bubbles. It does say 3 years + on it, but it's not like I'm going to hand him the bottle. (He'll be 1 year and 3 days on xmas day). The bubbles only cost about $3 from Kmart.

Good luck and I hope you and Rory have a fantastic 1st christmas together!

Im looking for a little first ornament as a keepsake but you have given me the idea of also getting a little cheapy for him to hang himself that way its not a bother if he decides its better to chew on it and i really like the idea of the bubbles!!

Thanks Debs Hope you and your DS have a wonderful Christmas too!

Also forgot to add Rory will be about 9.5months old then

My kids are a bit older than yours, but I find the $2 shop is great for stocking fillers - we get things like crayons, colouring books, colored paper, glitter pens, dress up stuff like bead necklaces, butterfly wings, crowns, hats etc.

Sorry, I know that doesn't help you much, but might help someone else. I love the bubbles idea too, we had bubbles in the loot bags for Maya's first birthday party and they were a huge hit.

how about a couple of little cars - Viking toys does very cute ones ]cars
viking toys

You can buy them individually at Toyworld and Moore Wilson for about $3. They are 12m+ but he would still be OK with them I think.

The $2 shop or other such shops are great for little things. They have bubbles there etc. I got a 3 pack of bubbles for $2 and the other thing that my DD loves is the large plastic animals, dinosaurs, farm animals etc. and they are $2 each, plus they will last ages and be great for the sandpit etc.

Oh thats another thing, a cheap bucket and spade for the beach I am sure the $2 shop will have those.

Love the $2 shop. Ours has maracas and shakers and castanets that Brennan loves.

The Moore Wilson out your way may just be the Moore Wilson Fresh but I am not sure.

I have had another idea - how about some bath toys? He must be at an age where the bath is really becoming fun

Finger puppets are good for stockings because they are nice and small and something babies can relate too. We got Rubes some last year and she still plays with them
