Totally and utterly random I know (!) but...
How do you treat / get rid of household moths?
We have millions of the horrid things flying around our lounge at night! They are not in the kitchen so are not pantry moths. I'm guessing they are coming from the soft furnishings or something.
I know moth balls repell them but how to you treat an "infestation" (ewwww)? Do I need to get a pest control person in or is there a DIY solution?
Google did not help me so I hope one of you lovely ladies can :)
LOL no help here, we're infested too but only in the laundry and toilet and it's coz they come in the louvre windows at night coz we leave the light on for Maya to go to the toilet.

Don't confuse the clothes moth with the common food- and grain-infesting moths that are frequently seen flying around the house.
Clothes moths usually only fly around the immediate area of the house where the infestation is found, and their flight patterns are distinctive they tend to flutter about rather than fly in a direct, steady manner like the food-infesting moths.
The most common sign and clear indication of cloth moths are varying sized holes on garments depending on the level of infestation.
