I used to add it to Floyds bottles (he was on expressed milk top ups then formula top ups as he was a bad feeder)

I was also told I could add it to some apple or pear even before he started solids.

We used to mix it up in very warm water as it takes a bit to dissolve... Sometimes we would do it in advance- then pop it in a teet.... no bottle- just a teet- that way he got the lot before he knew what he was getting
Iv heard some people just stick it on a finger while baby sucks it.

I used the dipped finger and got him to suck it off and then went to mixing it in a small bowl and syringing it it.

I used to mix it to a sticky/almost runny consistency and with BM and gave it off the end of a spoon.

HUGE huge hugs to you chick. You will get there! You are doing an amazing job with your two littlies. Elle was horridly unsettled and we made it through...you will too. Hang in there.

Thanks Fiona We are having such a rough time with Isabella The poor thing is just so unhappy a lot of the time with her reflux and colic, and today she had bad wind I'm hoping the 10mg of Losec kicks in soon...

Cool, so I don't have to make it up exactly like the bottle says. Isabella is on Mostly formula now as she is a bad feeder too Wont stay latched and screams at my boob. has done this since before we started giving her formula. I'm trying my best to get her to feed mostly off me, but in the end I'm just going to do what makes her happy.

Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant

I like the dunking the finger in the powder idea, saves trying to mix it up when you have a screaming baby!

The MW suggested that technique to us, after I got fed up with the mixing +screaming!
