Can someone help me. I'm told
high blood pressure
visual disturbances - seeing stars etc
swelling
headache

and pains up under the ribs - but what type of pain?

anything else I'm missing off that list?

Right upper abdo pain (different from heartburn). If you've got some dipsticks at home then protein in your urine is another one. Apart from that I think your list is fairly complete.

Are you just on the look out or are you feeling off? Hope you're okay.

That covers it but the swelling is "usually" pretty major. They are usually mroe concerned when its your face, arms and legs rather than just feed and hands.

With the swelling - if you push into it and it leaves a dent that doesnt come back up for ages its not a good sign.

I have bad swelling in my feet - so much so that if I press the swelling it leaves an indent but my MW said that that will always happen with swelling, it is only when paired with the other symptoms ie high blood pressure, protein in urine etc etc that it is cause for concern.

I had swelling in my feet really early on in pregnancy and they didnt really worry until it was up around my face and neck. And thats when i started getting protein and blood pressure problems.

i think its called epi gastric pain.. i never had it when i had PE .. they do monitor other things like platelets as well from your bloods... and if the swelling is sudden and leave an indent it is generally watched very carefully as normal swelling should at least lessen with rest.. as the other said when it gets past your feet and up into hands etc it's also a worry..

I only ever had two of those then i lost the high BP and got low platelets and protein in urine and then was stuck in hospital..
