i know in general measuring bigger is ok..and I have been 2-3 cm the whole pregnancy..
 so was 17 measuring 18
 21 measuring 23
 25 measuring 27
 29 measuring 32
 31.2 measuring 32
 33.3 measuring 36

when i have ob appt i might get a growth scan but she said she wasnt worried but another girl in my group is similar(though measuring normally till now ) and is being sent to check fluid...

should i be worried? I should never have googled it!! just freaked me cause it said one cause can be the same disease that my brother has a rare version of:( !! but 60-65% of cases have no cause..

*calms down * but is it normal to have a sudden jump like that? next mw appt is next tue

You could have just been having a bloated day. Theres no point really getting yourself into a fluster if your MW isn't worried.

I was about always measuring within a week of my dates until I got to 28 weeks and I was always 3-4 weeks ahead. Although was having regular scans every 4 weeks or less, so not the belly measurememnt. We were fine, voice concerns with your MW, sure it will be fine though! |

I Am 29 weeks, and have concerns about the amount of fluid that i am carrying also!
I had a glucose test last friday, which can be one of the causes of carry excess fluid and it came back my sugar levels are 9.6 (they say they are meant to be 4-8) so i had my second fasting test on monday which everything came back normal?

I quite often get asked if i am having twins or if i am due now, and when i tell them that i still have 10 weeks they always say "oh" ....i have an appointment tomorrow with my MW and hopefully can get a scan to check the fluid levels are ok

MOTR - there is actually quite a high rate of false positives on that initial glucose test, so when you go to do the second one all is well (authentic result).

Mumontherun - everyone has an opinion on how big or small you are. Don't let it get to you. We all put on different amounts of weight, carry differently and have different sized babies. My midwife reckons I'm spot on for my gestation yet I keep getting the opposite response to you when I tell them I'm 33 weeks "oh, you're pretty small then, is everything okay?" It gets very tiresome.

A tape measure across the tummy is only a guide..

I don't see much of a jump at all. They never really worry unless its 4-5 weeks ahead consistently, and then they'll just send you for a scan.
Can be the way the baby is lying (more limbs over the bit they measure), how bloated you are etc etc. I wouldn't worry at all TBH.
