Topic: Help - anniversary tomorrow! Posted: 26 January 2010 at 2:35pm |
OK so DH and I have left it very much to the last minute, life has been a bit hectic!
Generally we do traditional gifts, but don't spend much (have no money for it).
So... crafty ideas for a 3rd wedding annversary?
Traditional - leather
Modern - crystal
I'm thinking of getting a piece of leather and wrapping a wee poem inside or something? I just gave mum back her sewing machine so can't sew anything (unless by hand).
Quick... ideas please?! Oh and on a budget of $10 lol (yes we are cheap... well actually just don't buy into expensive gifts for each other)

Thanks guys, we didn't do anything in the end! (well we got KFC for tea lol).
We decided to go to the market this weekend and get a crystal whiskey decanter set, as I like pretty stuff and for DH its very practical

I'm such a dick. I am picturing actual crystals, like stones!
Not the lovely crystal glassware type thing
That sounds lovely

You mean next week don't you Dal? You got married the year before me love
No we will go to the Riccarton Market and get a 2nd hand one, they have lots of different types there.
We are just so stoked to make it to 3 years - didn't think 6 months ago that it would ever happen

Yeah they still have a lot of produce. There's some quite wicked stuff there actually, but a lot of the nice jewellery has left and moved to the Arts Centre markets (and they've put prices up).
I love the markets (esp the donuts lol)
