Hi folks,

We got this stroller/capsule combo in December 08 from Baby City. I've not taken my son for many walks in just the stroller but when I did, the back would not stay in the upright position.

I took it back to the shop and they sent it away to be looked at. Somehow, it got lost in the post coming back so they just gave me a brand new one.

The new one does it as well. Does anyone have this stroller and experienced this problem? I'm starting to feel like I'm doing something wrong when I load it into the car.

My friend has the three wheeler and doesn't have an issue at all.

Is it the tech rider one? if it is (this is the one I have) I'll go check mine and see if it does it too, just got it in nov last year. Is it only when you have the baby in it or does it just not stay up?

I have the 4 wheel Milano stroller (from the capsule/stoller package, purchased in June 08). I've never had this issue - her Daddy had it happen once but he didn't have it locked into position properly, Once I showed him how to work it, no problems.

I've just checked mine and it doesn't do it, it stays in the right position providing, like Freespirit said, it's locked into position properly.

When I bought mine, it came in a box and I had to assemble it, could perhaps maybe you didn't assemble it correctly?

Hiya,

The first one we had to assemble but the second one was straight off the floor....

Anyhow, I took it down yesterday and they decided to just give me a brand new stroller of my choice. I ended up choosing the 3 wheeler because it uses an actual handle to lock it in place (and I couldn't be bothered getting to know a whole new stroller).

Apparently there was a dodgy batch of them and I was just unlucky.

Thanks for your input folks.

Thats handy to know about the dodgy batch, I noticed on the carseat safety website (I think) that they got their dates wrong or something on the capsules!!

Glad you got it sorted and got a new one!! Is it still a Milano one?

Yep, the three wheel version of my one. Instead of just having the steel handly thing at the back of the seat to adjust the recline position, it has a handle as well and it clicks into position.

Hello,We purchased a milano 3 wheel stroller and capsule .The 1st time we used it the pushchair I went to go down a step the thing folded up with my new born baby in it who luckily was safe inside the capsule .We then couldn't fold the stroller down one of the side things that is ment to lock in place had jammed in somehow and the release wire was faulty .We rang the store and they said to send it back so we did we had to unscrew everything to fold it up & they sent out a new one then the same thing happened! I couldn't believe it .
The thing wouldn't fold down so we ended up going with a completely diffrent brand .
I would stay away from any stroller that has the release button on the handle bar that you have to slide across and click in to fold up.
When I took it back to the shop the lady told me alot of that model had been returned and they had a faulty shippment of that model.
You'd think that they would have recalled them!.

We have the 3 wheeler and the only issue has been with the front wheel. When we took it back to baby city they said they had a few wheels in and that maybe it was the reason why Babycity had them so cheap.

Apart from that we haven't had any other issues.
