Hope its all good to post this in here!
For those on FB.... there is a new group started called Attachemnt Parenting New Zealand
heres the group link
A group for parents who follow attachment parenting principles.
Attachment parenting is not a strict code to follow. It is a set of guidelines that parents apply to their own family and circumstances. However, there are certain common principles that parents may draw from:
- Co-sleeping, or sleeping near to baby
- Breastfeeding, and breastfeeding over 6 months
- Baby wearing, carrying baby in a sling or wrap
- Belief that babies cry for a reason and should not be left to 'cry it out'.
Parents who follow attachment principles do not typically leave their babies to cry at night.
Many families develop along AP principles without ever having heard the term!
feel free to pop along and join if you are interested! can even discuss in here lol. (strangely enough thats what the forums are for haha)
(if you don't agree then thats cool, but please dont turn it into a debate... its just here for people that are interested

thanks guys!)
