Mother deliberately drops child

Just saw this on the news and my hand actually flew to my mouth and I was speechless how could anyone do this... this link is to the article there is also a video

Sadly, that sort of behaviour is the norm for top end abo's.

umm sorry but i dont know of any human beinng that can process alcohol properly so your navie statement has no merit it is a rascist thing you have said

Having been up Nth Qld & with DH having lived there, I have seen revolting behaviour, but in this case I chose not to voice my opinion as it will always be seen as being racist. What freespirit said is actually very mild if you talk to local people up there, I think my jaw was dragging on the ground a lot listening to them.

Correct. I did research it when I was doing a paper for nursing. Asians also have a similar thing.

Here is a quote I find just before online that basically explains it.

Alcohol is metabolized based on genetics. Alcohol is metabolized in the human body by converting ethanol to acetaldehyde using alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) enzymes. The acetaldehyde is then broken down into acetate and water by aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) enzymes. Some people have gene variations of the ALDH enzymes that do not metabolize alcohol as well as others. (The genes for the ALDH alleles sit on chromosome 4.)

I'm not shocked at Freespirits comment, sadly she's right they do behave in this way.  Might not be very PC its the way it is.

There are genes linked to addictions like alcoholism, though. I did a research project on it last year. Really interesting.

The decision whether or not to use is still up to the individual, though.
